Quick answers
- Where are my files? Open the Files app → iCloud Drive → FamilyKeepsake. Every keepsake is there as an ordinary photo or PDF, foldered by category. (In the app: Settings → Your archive → Show in Files.)
- The AI says it's unavailable. FamilyKeepsake needs iOS or iPadOS 27 and Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri, on a supported device (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an M-series iPad). You can always fill in the card by hand.
- A save failed saying storage is full. Your device's storage has run out - free some space and tap Save again. Nothing you captured is lost while the review card is open.
- Sync between devices isn't happening. Check both supported iPhones or iPads are signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive enabled and have a network connection, then give it a few minutes - iCloud sets its own pace. The ordinary files can also be opened from iCloud Drive on a Mac.
- Where are my Yearbooks? Finished books are standard PDFs in iCloud Drive → FamilyKeepsake → Yearbooks. You can also reopen, share or delete past books from the Yearbook screen in the app.
- What happens after a bulk import? Photos, PDFs and items shared from other apps wait in the review inbox. FamilyKeepsake reads them on device in the background; you confirm each card before it saves.
- Restore or share a purchase. In the app, open Settings → Unlock everything → Restore purchase while signed in with the Apple Account that bought it. The one-time unlock is eligible for Apple Family Sharing; family members use Apple's normal purchase-sharing setup, while each person's archive remains in their own iCloud.
